Delete account

You can delete your Shortwave account from the settings section of any Shortwave app.

This will not affect any messages stored in your Gmail account. You can also revoke Shortwave permissions from your Google account. Learn more about how Shortwave takes your security & privacy seriously.

If you choose to try Shortwave in the future, all you have to do is sign up again via Google sign-in.

Desktop

1. Go to the Support page in your Shortwave settings
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account
3. Confirm account deletion by entering your email address

iOS

1. Click on your profile photo on the top left of your inbox
2. Select Delete account on the bottom of the screen under the sign out button
3. Confirm account deletion by by entering your email address
